4-H International Education Programs

4-H families in Siberia gather for a photo

4-H international education programs contribute to understanding among people of the world through assistance, education, exchange and training programs. They stimulate a growing international emphasis within the U.S. 4-H program and serve as a link with similar youth organizations in over 80 countries.

Some state 4-H programs conduct international exchange programs that involve older 4-H members. To find out what international exchange opportunities may be available in your state, contact your local/county or state 4-H office.
