Organizational Information
Founded: 1936 as Norske Jordbruksklubber, changed name in 1956 to Norske 4H, changed name in 2006 to 4H Norge.
Age of Members: 10 - 25
Number of Members: Approx. 17,000 Number of Clubs: Approx. 700

Motto: "Learning by doing" (lære ved å gjøre)

Purpose/Mission: We promise to work towards the goal of becoming a youth with a clear Head (klart hode), warm Heart (varmt hjerte), clever Hands (flinke hender) and good Health (god helse).

Educational Program Focus: To develop young people to become socially conscious and responsible members of society, with a respect and sense of responsibility for the natural resources that form the basis of life.
