National 4-H Conference
The National 4-H Conference is a working conference under the leadership of a planning committee of youth and adults and National 4-H Headquarters staff. This event brings together youth, volunteer leaders, state, and county Extension staff members from across the United States, its territories, and the Canadian Provinces. These delegates -- at the invitation of the Secretary of Agriculture --assist in the development of recommendations to help guide 4-H Youth Development Programs nationally and in their communities. Delegates are selected by their state/territory/province. Conference is held each spring at the National 4-H Youth Conference Center.
National 4-H Congress
National 4-H Congress is a highlight event of the 4-H program led by a national design team of Extension educators, 4-H youth, and 4-H adult volunteers. 4-H Congress provides youth, ages 14-19, a quality, educational, and cross-cultural experience. Each year, the design team analyzes current youth issues and determines the most effective ways to address them. 4-H Congress is held in late November in Atlanta, GA. |
